The tests are back! The tumers I thought I found I did find! But they are cyst in nature rather than a hard mass. So we do nothing with that area but wait for six months or so! Yea!! Now on to another test for cancer in another area that is suspect! Getting older is not for wimps!!

Last night (Friday) I had a blessing like I haven't had in a long time. I was honored and privileged to speak to the Rose Hulman Chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. What a great group of people! So definitely Christian and so dedicated to God and His Word! Great worship service led by Chapter members; such attentive listeners to God's Word. The bonfire afterward was solid fun!! Thank you God, for a Great Evening with great Christians!!

Tonight I meet once again with the Servant Leaders at Countryside Christian Fellowship to finalize how we proceed for the church to formally approve me as their Pastor! This is totally a "God-Thing" and that's what makes it so exciting. Otherwise I wouldn't ever have considered it and it wouldn't be happening. This will be a definite turn in my life -- maybe a "turning back" to pastoring one congregation rather than doing Interim Ministries with various congregations as I have the past 13 years. This can only be of God because on my own it wouldn't be happening and I know how unworthy I am of any opportunity like this.

I need to leave the house for awhile so will sign off for now.

CANCER!! The dreaded word! You don't like to hear it -- especially in regard to yourself. But the doctor said he couldn't be sure. So more tests will be required to disprove/prove?? Many emotions but the primary one, "I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!" So many things I want to do in Kingdom Service for so many.

I guess just another chapter in life. This is a good opportunity to put into words some thoughts/feelings. Friday--ultrasound. We'll see what is next--if anything!! This test for cancer in one area of the body--in a couple of months another test for anoher type of cancer in another part of the body!!

God is good -- all the time. And He is faithful. I have prayed to be like Job, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." God is giving me opportunity to see if I really mean it!!
